Tom
Flanagan entered the world on 16th March 1930 in Detriot
Michigan USA.
His
early main influences appear to have been The Great Teddy
Wilson and Art Tatum and eventually the new and exciting
Bebop workings of Bud Powell.
However
most of his formative years seem to be overcast as a skillful
and extremely sensitive accompanist to the great voices
of Tony Bennett and of course Ella Fitzgerald.
