Troggs
The
Troggs originated from Hampshire with the amalgamation
of the original Troggs reduced to two members, Dave
Wright (vocals) and Reginald Ball (bass) and another
group Ten Foot Five consisting of remaining members
Peter Staples (bass) and Chris Britton (Guitar). The
remnants of these two groups were merged at the suggestion
of their respective managers at the time, with Ball
becoming lead vocalist and their name "The Troggs"
surviving.
