WHAT WE DO
Prestige Elite Records is home to one of the largest independent record catalogues in the World. Formed in 1987 by Music Industry veterans, Hal Shaper and Keith C Thomas, they set about acquiring and releasing as many recordings as possible. Now with 25,000+ tracks in the catalogue, the music is sold on CD in all good record stores, online via all major digital sores, and is available for worldwide license for all kinds of uses, including local release, film and TV synchronization.
CD SALES
Prestige Elite is distributed in the UK by NOVA Sales & Distribution via GEM Logistics and supplies all the major high street and online retailers such as HMV, Amazon, Play and The Hut.
OUR TITLES
At present, Prestige Elite has many different titles available in CD format, including single CD's, double CD's and 4CD box-set's. We use a mixture of original recordings and quality re-recordings by the original artists. The Prestige Elite range includes artists such as Louis Armstrong, Nat King Cole, Frank Sinatra, Frankie Laine, Bing Crosby, Dizzy Gillespie, John Coltrane, Acker Bilk, John Lee Hooker, Rufus Thomas, Al Jarreau, Wilson Picket, John Holt, Gregory Isaacs, Wayne Wonder, The Foundations, Osibisa, The Allisons, and many, many more.
LICENSING
Prestige Elite has a substantial catalogue of over 25,000 recordings covering virtually every genre of music, but especially Nostalgia, Jazz, Blues, Soul, Reggae, Country, Rock'n'Roll, 50s, 60s and 70s Pop, and World Music. All recordings are available for licensing worldwide. At present Prestige Elite licenses it's recordings to labels for various uses in over 100 countries.
