The Music Genre, generally, applied to surf and beach music, originated in the late fifties basically in California, USA, and became a scene which appealed to and fascinated people worldwide, and does so even now.
Of course the sport and thrill of surfing has been around a long time and is played out on beaches in many places now globally, bringing thrills to all who participate.
This digitally remastered and enhanced CD compilation encompasses some of the original great artists who created their music, with mainly “Surfing” in mind. This genre of music extending into the early 70s with many international hits, notably by Jan & Dean, The Beach Boys, Dick Dale etc.
